Red Stag introduced EZ Street Asphalt® to the UK market in 2018 with the view of making a reliable and performance-proven cold-lay product for permanent pothole and patch repairs.

EZ Street’s polymer modified formula makes the material an all-weather solution that requires no heating for application. Significant benefits to end users include the simple application process, requiring minimal equipment and time to effect a surface repair.

After refining the production process, with low environmental impact, Red Stag wanted to highlight the sustainability benefits of EZ Street Asphalt®.

Red Stag engaged Carbon-Zero to deliver the following:-

Objectives

  • Prepare a Product Carbon Footprint for their EZ Street cold Asphalt
  • Make EZ Street a Carbon Neutral Product

Results

  • Completed Product Life Cycle Assessment enabling offset to become Carbon Neutral Product
  • Established EPD for BrickPlus
